A minimum of 3 months notice is generally required for wedding cakes but 6 to 12 months notice is advisable as some dates can fill up really quickly, especially during the popular summer months. We can sometimes accommodate wedding cake orders at shorter notice so it is always worth getting in touch so we can check availability for you.

Although we do book celebration cakes up to 12 months in advance we may be able to accomodate your cake with less that 4 weeks notice so it is always worth getting in touch to check availibility,

No I am really sorry but I don't make cupcakes or cakepops. My skillset and passion lies in baking and decorating larger more elaborate celebration cakes and bespoke wedding cakes.

I am happy to use other designers work as inspiration but cannot replicate a specific cake design unless permission has been granted by the designer of that cake.

However, I can 'borrow' elements from one or more cakes and use these to inspire a cake created especially for you

Unfortunately not. I am unable to make any copyrighted characters as I don't have the licence to do so and to make an unlicensed cake would be breaking the law ... even though it is 'just a cake' and it will be eaten. As a small business the expense involved in purchasing the licence would be cost prohibitive and as such it is usually only the larger chain stores or supermarkets which have a massive turnover or purchasing budget that can actually afford to do this. Any cake maker who makes this kind of cake unfortunately does so at their own risk. ...... However if you wish to provide small toys / licensed characters I can borrow 'elements' from a theme and the characters can be added to this. The great thing is the child then gets to play with the toys long after the cake has been eaten.

As my cakes as bespoke they are priced according to the size of the cake, the design and intricacy of the work, and the number of hours taken to complete the cake from start to finish. There is a minimum order value of £150 for Celebration Cakes and £350 for Wedding Cakes

Guide prices can be given to help you work out how much you may need to budget, but for a bespoke cake quote please use the cake enquiry form giving as many details as possible, as this will help me to give you a more accurate guide to cost.

£25 date reservation fee is required for all celebration cakes up to the value of £150.

£50 date reservation fee required for all cakes over £150.

​Cakes ordered within 2 weeks of the event date will require a payment of 50% of the total cost of the cake at the time of booking.

Until the date reservation fee has been paid the date will remain open to other clients.

Full payment is required before a cake will be released.

As we operate a home based business any personal visits are by prior arrangement only.

Yes of course, and delivery is highly recommended for wedding cakes!

Celebration cakes are generally for collection only but delivery can be arranged for tiered /larger cakes, or cakes being displayed at a venue. However, this is subject to time availability as all deliveries are in person.

Cost is calculated on a time and mileage rate taking the safest route from postcode to postcode with a minimum charge of £25 per delivery (including set up) for wedding cakes.

​A minimum delivery fee of £15 applies to all Celebration cakes within a 5-mile radius

Delivery further afield will be charged at £2 per mile (one way) with the cost added to the final balance payment.

For insurance purposes and peace of mind, all cake deliveries and cake collections will require a signature.

Searching for your ideal wedding cake is really exciting, but if you've never even booked a bespoke cake before then it could feel a bit overwhelming! Scrolling through hundreds of beautiful and inspirational Pinterest cake photos while trying to figure out where on earth to start is enough to send anyone into a meltdown!

Can I meet you in person and see your cakes?

Yes absolutely! I show my cakes at a number of wedding fayres throughout the year and always take lots of lovely cake taster samples for prospective wedding couples to try ... details and dates are posted on social media.

Cake Tasting?

Samples are available for £30 inc. postage for couples who can't make it to a wedding fayre and would like to taste our cakes before making a decision, (or who just like cake!).

Consultation?

A consultation fee of £50 (including cake samples) will apply if you would like to have a face-to-face consultation but haven't yet booked your cake or are still 'shopping around' for ideas.

Informal consultations can be arranged via telephone/email for celebration cakes or for wedding couples who wish to discuss details further before reserving a date.
